Nashville Lifestyles: Tree House Nashville
For the April issue of Nashville Lifestyles, I photographed interiors at Tree House Nashville. I don't shoot a ton of interiors, but when I was given the opportunity to shoot at Tree House I jumped because it is such a cool space. A big part of being a food photographer is learning to capture spaces. Keep reading to find out more about this space and see more awesome interior photos.
The main dining room is a really nice and open space. The lights hanging from the ceiling are really unique and interesting.
With a name like Tree House, you know that this restaurant is going to be fun. When you step outside into the backyard you are greeted with this amazing tree house bar! The colors are vibrant and the level of cool details is remarkable.
To get up into the tree house they have a colorful stairwell to climb. The art on the walls as you go up is really cool and unique.
The main space in the tree house is awesome. The owners have packed it full of neat items on the walls. The atmosphere is fun and playful.
Treehouse also has plenty of outdoor dining options with two covered patios.
I had a great time photographing this restaurant and getting a little out of my normal comfort zone. Interior photography is quickly becoming one of my favorite types of photography. With each new editorial photoshoot, I find myself taking a few interior photos to capture the ambiance of the space. I think that adding a few interior and exterior photos to ane editorial food photoshoot really adds to the storytelling element.
